Vaccines, malaria prevention, and a traveller's kit — reviewed against your itinerary and prescribed on the spot. No referral, no second appointment.
Best 4–6 weeks before you go · appointments Mon–Thu
I check your destinations against current travel-health guidance and sort what you actually need.
Hepatitis A & B, typhoid, and other destination-specific vaccines — given here.
The right antimalarial for your region, season, and trip length.
A stand-by antibiotic and rehydration plan, so a bad meal doesn't ruin the trip.
Prevention for altitude sickness and motion sickness when your trip calls for it.
Tetanus and other routine vaccines brought up to date before you leave.
Documentation of your vaccines and prescriptions for your files and border requirements.
Ideally 4–6 weeks out, so vaccines have time to work. Last-minute? Still come — we'll do what we can.
We go through your destinations, dates, and activities, and I build your plan.
Vaccines given, prescriptions filled, kit in hand — all in one visit.
Assessment, prescriptions, and vaccines together — not a clinic referral and a separate jab appointment.
Interactions with your regular meds, timing, and side-effects — squarely a pharmacist's wheelhouse.
Consults Monday to Thursday — usually within the week, all sorted in one visit.
Not covered by Alberta Health, so there's a flat fee — told upfront. Many work plans reimburse it.
Bring your itinerary, vaccination history, and a list of current medications. Some vaccines need to be ordered in, so book early where you can.
4–6 weeks is ideal so vaccines can take effect and any series can be started. Leaving sooner? Come anyway — there's usually still plenty I can do.
Yes — travel consults are booked so I can review your itinerary and have any vaccines ready. I consult Monday to Thursday; book online and you'll see live availability.
The consult is a flat private fee (not covered by Alberta Health), and vaccines/medications are billed separately. Many private and work health plans reimburse both — keep your receipt.
Your itinerary (destinations and dates), your vaccination history if you have it, and a list of medications you currently take.
One visit covers your vaccines, prescriptions, and kit. Book a few weeks before you fly.
